Brussels Airport Bus to city

At Brussels Airport there are four different platforms used by the bus companies which serves it: De Lijn, MIVB/STIB, Antwerp-Brussels Airport Express and Ouibus. Each company operates in a different platform.

De Lijn

Lines 272 and 471 to Brussels North station.

Lines 359 and 659: To underground Roodebeek station.

Regional services: To Mechelen, Leuven, Vilvoorde, Jette, Merchtem, Brussels Expo, Haacht, Diegem, Roodebeek and Groenendaal.

Buses that run through Brucargo, buses depart from Platform B, the other services depart from Platform A. Inside the perimeter of the airport, De Lijn buses are for free.

It is an express service that goes between Brussels airport and the European quarter in 30 minutes (Platform C).

From Monday to Friday (08:00 pm) there is an express service (number 12) that only serves the major stops. See line 12 schedule.

During the week, including Saturday and Sunday (and holidays), after 08:00 pm the line is the number 21 and serves all the stops. See line 21 schedule.

It is cheaper to get the tickets with the vending machines, to buy a ticket to the driver is more expensive.

Antwerp-Brussels Airport Express

It is a service that runs between Antwerp and Brussels Airport (and viceversa). It stops at:

- Kon. Astridplein (Central Station)

- Crowne Plaza

Opening hours: From 04:00 am to 00:00 am.

Travel time: 35 minutes (Crowne Plaza), 45 minutes (Koningin Astridplein).


From Platform E there is a night service bus that runs to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Lille and Paris. Get further information at Flixbus website.


Ouibus offers Brussels Airport Lille line by Brussels Midi Station.

Departures: 09:00 am, 1:30 pm, 7:30 pm.

Travel time: 2h 15 minutes.

Buses depart from Platform E.

The bus stop at Brussels Airport is located at the ground level of the main terminal.

According to the company you travel with, it will depart from any of the available platforms (Platform A, B, C, D and E).
