Brussels Airport by Train

Brussels Airport is linked to downtown by both national and international trains which depart and get to the Brussels Airport – Zaventem station, located at the basement level of the airport.

Get to Brussels-Central, which stands for the main railway station in Brussels, within 17 minutes from the airport.

Trains are operated by the national Belgian Railway Company SNCB.

International trains

Trains run frequently to the main cities in the Netherlands like Rotterdam, The Hague or Amsterdam.

Travel time is between 1.30 hours and 3 hours depending on the destination.

Another option is to go to Brussels Midi Station where there are trains that run to Cologne (Germany), Paris (France), Lille (France) or London (UK).

National trains

Brussels Airport connects with other train stations along the city: North, Central and Midi. During weekends there are trains that go from Luxembourg, Schuman and Etterbeek to Brussels airport.

There are different routes and alternatives to reach different train stations along Belgium.

The train station is located at Level -1 in the terminal. You can get there through the Arrivals hall, second level, and the Departures hall, third level.


In case of doing a short trip by train from Brussels Airport, you may purchase Key Card, which will grant you convenient prices per trip (about € 2.30).
